About the Farm!

We are a Family and Pet friendly free range, transparent farm, where maintaining our traceability is key. You can come along to the farm and meet all the four legged little characters who live here and make the place a home. They All have their own little stories on how their journey brought them to their Forever Farm.

A family and Tourist friendly venue that allows you to come along and meet the animals and spend the day enjoying what mother nature has given us. Hang out with the little characters that make the farm their forever home. Sit in our picnic area while the kids have fun in a safe and friendly environment. Scheduled farm walks with Farmer Bella with prior booking.
Nestled in the foothills of Co Donegal overlooking the stunning Glenveigh mountain range, with a stunning view out to Tory Island also. We have many little animals that call Bellaville their forever farm.
The farm, cottage and land had lay derelict and un-farmed for almost 30years, rugged, overgrown, wild and rustic. I took the farm on in the spring 2016 knowing nothing about farming except that grass was green. Coming from the bright lights of city life. I spent my career in catering/hospitality and event coordination and management. Being the ultimate city girl with no farming background I had a dream………One woman and her Dog!!!!!

I swiftly took myself to agricultural school to learn how to farm my land and learn the good husbandry skills that I needed to look after all the little rescue animals that I had taken in already. Knowing only that I wanted to make something that really mattered not only to me but to the community around me. I welcomely opened the doors of the farm to allow you, your family and friends to come along and meet the little animals that we look after and take in here at the farm.
During my time studying at Agricultural College, I was determined to think of every Alternative Agri use for my land and farm. Tourism and Event Hire being high on my list.
After graduating and attaining my GreenCert with Merit , I enrolled in the Food Academy Program run by Musgraves. Here is where I developed my brand and first product, graduating in March 2020 gaining access for The Goat Burger to go on shelf at Supervalue and Centra stores.
I am currently Studying a Diploma in Specialty Food Production at UCC Cork, whilst working on new Goat meat Products to launch under our Gaeltacht Goat Meat Company Brand next year.

“Follow your dreams and never give up” one day they WILL come true!!!
Making dreams come true every day at Bellaville Farm.

Sustainability

I believe that the first step towards sustainability is zero waste, we reuse and recycle everything here at the farm. We use Zero chemical fertilizers or machinery and harness as much of what mother nature gives us. Our aim at the farm is to be self sustainable with zero carbon footprint by 2025.
